itallations and Elections in Several of the Orders to Take Place Soon.

tVt the recent meeting ot the Supreme Lodge, A.O.U.W., at iMihvaukee, a bon-ui was promised of $'2,000 to any juris diction adding per cent, to their membership, such per cent, to be at least 1,000 iiieiiihers. British Columbia will make an ell'urt to win this bonus and therefore things are likely to bo lively in the order here this year. Tbe classified assessment plan was found by the Supreme Lodge to have acted so satisfactorily that it will in all probability come into general use.

The Sir William Wallace Society have their elections on Fnday, and on Wednesday the Rathbone Sisters, of Behn-sen Temple No. 3, will choose their new ollicers.

Among the coming social events of the societies is a dance in A.O.U.W. hall on Friday, given by Hope lodge. Degree of Honor. Wold's orchestra will play, and the tickets have been ])laced at a low price 60 tliat a large attendance may be secured. The lodge meets on Thursday evening for important business, and tbe members are accordingly requested to attend,

Victoria Camp 52, Woodmen of the World have their quarterly concert on Monday, ,7uly 19 and next month will celebrate their second anniversary by a church parade.

I']lectiou and installation of officers, reports of directors and consideriition of applications for membership will occupy the attention of Court Vancouver, A.O. F., at their quarterly meeting to-morrow evening, at Foresters Hall, tiovernment street. Ollicers and members of Court Northern Light and sojourning mem-bera are invited to attend the installation ceremonies, after which the guests will be entertained at aupper.

Th£ city lodges of the 1.0.O.K. will instal officers this week for the current term, as follows: Monday evening, Victoria lodge, No. 1; Wednesday evening, Columbia lodge. No. 2; Thursday evening. Dominion lodge. No. i ; Friday evening. Peerless lodge, No. 33; and on Monday evening, July 12, Acme lodge, No. 14. At the last meeting of Columbia lodge the first degree was conferred oa a member, and elections held with the following result: Trustees (six months), J. H. Meldram, P. VV. Dempster and Cbaa. Minckler; rei)resenta-tives on Board of Union (one year), .Tames Pottinger, R. H. Allan, J. H. Meldram, A. Henderson and P. "VV. Dempster.

The Victoria hive. No. 1, L.O.T.M., will hold its next regular meeting on Tuesday, in tbe Knights of Pythias ball, Broad street.
